What's Hot This Month At Classic Fine Foods: July Edition

With longer days and warmer weather, July has an abundance of delicious fruits and vegetables to offer. As well as s fresh produce, at Classic Fine Foods, we have also selected a range of spring-summer products to help you create something really special this season for your customers. We are also excited to announce that we will be hosting a caviar and golf event later this month.

With Classic Harvest by Classic Fine Foods, we want to offer to you the best selection of seasonal and high-quality fruit & vegetables coming from the best farmers in the UK and Europe;

Fruit

From Wye Valley, Herefordshire, delicious blueberries are now in season and not forgetting the unsung hero, gooseberries. Both tart and juicy, they are perfect for making jams, compotes and topping desserts.

Delicious stone fruit are also in abundance. Apricots are now perfect to pick and yellow peaches and white nectarines are still in season. Perfect for making desserts, cocktails and even summer salads. Why not try are recipe for grilled peaches with vegan stracciatella salad here.

Veg

From the sunniest part of the UK, we still have a wide variety of Isle of Wight tomatoes available. With classic vine to cherry to mixed heritage, they are juicy and flavoursome and perfect for making the delicious summer salads, tarts, sauces and more.

Also from the UK, Baby yellow, orange and purple carrots are in season. Perfect for adding some vibrancy to your crudité, salads or roasted vegetable dishes this summer.

Spring-Summer Inspiration

Discover our fantastic range of premium pastry and cuisine ingredients to make the spring and summer seasons very special. With so many important events coming up, including the Chelsea Flower Show and Wimbledon, it is a great opportunity to prepare exciting seasonal menus.

Chocolate Couvertures

Valrhona fruit inspiration range as well as white, milk, dark and new dark-milk chocolates. Perfect for creating fruit desserts, pastries, chocolate bonbons and bars.

Fruit Purees

We offer fresh and frozen fruit Ponthier purees, ideal for making light and fruity desserts and cocktails. We have some delicious seasonal fruits from watermelon to white peach.as well as vegetable purees such as red pepper.

Seafood

We have an wonderful range of fish and seafood for your spring-summer menus including Sturia caviarcarabineros prawns, French and British oysters, Scottish and New Zealand salmon. Perfect for creating amazing seafood platters, salads, canapes and more.

Meat

In the spring-summer collection ,we have included Australian and Japanese wagyu. With rich marbling, full flavour and a melt-in-the-mouth texture, these steaks will be a real showstopper on your menus.

Italian veal is also in season in the summer months. With a delicately flavoured and tender texture, veal is the perfect meat for summer dishes.

Cheese

Italian cheeses such as burrata and ricotta are perfect for your summer starters, salads and pasta dishes. We also have some amazing vegan alternatives from Julienne Bruno, including a plant based burrata, stracciatella and cream cheese so there really is something for everyone. Fresh Fruit Juices & Nectars

Wanting to offer fresh, healthy and delicious options for your customers in these warmer months? Try our fresh fruit juices from Squish with seasonal flavours such as British berry, tomato and pineapple or our fruit nectars from Patrick Font with flavours of vine peach, apricot or strawberry. Perfect on their own or for making fruit cocktails and mocktails.
