Porketto
Based in Northern France, Porketto has a recognised international presence as a European specialist in piglets. With over 70% of the market share in France, their specialisation in piglets allows them to offer a source of supply in quantity and quality.
Porketto has ultimate traceability from the birth of the pig to the final product. Their ear tag identification system, unique to each farm, facilitates tracking and following the chain. Their producers and merchants are also mainly located in the North of France and Brittany.
Their suckling pigs are fed on their mother’s milk and a diet of top-quality feed and grains to help the meat become succulent and tender. Between the ages of two to six weeks, the piglets are slaughtered humanely.
The company controls the entire process of production as the selection, slaughtering, processing, and packing are all done in-house.
