Nutmeg and Mace (Non-stock Item)
From the discovery of the Penja pepper in Cameroon in 1998, Terre Exotique was formed to bring some of the most gastronomically creative and gourmet salts, peppers, spices and herbs to chef's around the world.
Nutmeg and Mace is harvested in Sri Lanka. The nutmeg is surrounded by a thin coating which is mace which is sweeter and more delicate than nutmeg yet slightly peppery.
Grind Nutmeg and Mace with a pestle and mortar to brighten up your desserts, roux sauces and potato dishes.
