Wild Trevise (Tardivo) is a wonderful Italian salad leaf, similar to chicory or raddichio. Wild Trevise (Tardivo) is similar to its cultivated sibling but has beautiful small curly leaves.
With a earthy, slightly bitter, and subtly sweet flavour, Wild Trevise (Tardivo) is perfect in salads, raw or grilled and pairs well with oranges, walnuts and balsamic vinegar.
